SPH 596 - Epidemiology Methods I
★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) An introduction to the theory of epidemiology with an emphasis on study design. Topics include the nature of epidemiologic reasoning, indices used to describe and measure health status, interpretation of studies, causation, descriptive studies, analytic studies, intervention studies, and ethics. Note: Credit may not be obtained for both PHS/SPH 596 and SPH 597.
