21 senior credits in AUCHE, at least ★6 of which must be at the 300- or 400-level. The BSc in Chemistry requires that AUCHE 277be taken to satisfy ★3 of this requirement.
Students interested in a graduate degree in Chemistry (i.e., MSc, PhD) should enrol in the BSc program and take more than the minimum required credits (in total and at the 400-level).
★3 in Statistics are recommended. Some senior courses are offered in alternate years.
Plans for taking a Chemistry project course should be discussed with the Department Chair in the year prior to registering in the course.
A student is advised to take the Mathematics supporting courses early in the program. Note that AUMAT 110, or AUMAT 116 is a recommended corequisite for AUCHE 220 and AUCHE 222 is required for AUCHE 279; that AUMAT 211 is a recommended corequisite for AUCHE 277 and a required prerequisite for AUCHE 377; and that AUMAT 120 is a required prerequisite for AUCHE 430.
