HECOL 460 - Nineteenth, Twentieth, and Twenty-First Century Dress in the Western World

★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-3) Advanced study of Western dress from the 19th century to the present. Lectures and labs introduce students to artifactual research and the handling, storage, examination and documentation of artifacts. Resources include fashion plates, photographic archives and artifacts from the University of Alberta’s Clothing and Textiles Collection. Prerequisite: HECOL 268. Normally offered in alternate years.
