HECOL 250 - Design Studies and Practice

★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-3) Explores the production of artifacts as material culture from a human ecology perspective. Artifact production focuses on the design process including visualization, communication, inspiration/influence and interface. Students are introduced to the production of two-and three-dimensional design through historical and contemporary examples. Students also complete hands-on design projects in the studio. Note: Credit will only be given for one of HECOL 150, 250 or 350.
