AUSTA 153 - Introductory Applied Statistics

★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-1) Introduction to elementary statistical concepts designed to provide an understanding of how statistics can be used to analyze real world phenomena. Emphasis is on applications in the field of business and economics. The student is required to use spreadsheet and other statistical software to analyze and examine statistical data. Prerequisite: Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2. Notes: Credit may be obtained for only one of AUSTA 153, 213, 215, AUPSY 213.
