★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) Nature and assessment of knowledge (e.g., values and belief systems manifest in art, science, technology) in the context of social systems; the connection between competing systems of knowledge and social change. Prerequisite: *3 at a senior level in Sociology and 3rd year standing, or consent of the instructor.
