AUENV 475 - Canadian Environmental History ★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) Historical examination of the dynamic interrelationships between the natural world and humans, with a focus on Canadian issues within a North American context. Topics and perspectives will include: Aboriginal peoples, colonization, fur trade, exploration, settlement, western agriculture, science, and the conservation movement. Prerequisite: One of AUHIS 260, 261. Note: Credit may be obtained for only one of AUENV 375, 475, AUHIS 375, 475.
