LING 514 - Multimodality in Language

★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) Issues and methods in the analysis and interpretation of co-speech/co-sign bodily behaviours (i.e. gestures, gaze and posture shifts, facial expressions) in face-to-face conversational interaction. Prerequisite: LING 314 or consent of Department. Not offered every year. Note: Open to senior undergraduates in Linguistics.
