EDIT 488 - Online Teaching and Learning

★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) This course addresses the theory and practice of teaching and learning in blended and fully online learning environments in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. This course will cover topics such as pedagogical frameworks, instructional design, virtual learning communities, and technologies to support online teaching, and approaches to online assessment. It will investigate how to deal with changing technological environments that mediate the delivery of instruction. This course is taught in an online delivery format. Prerequisites: EDU 210 or equivalent.
