EDEL 516 - Contemporary Issues in Elementary Mathematics Education

★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) This course explores contemporary issues related to the teaching and learning of mathematics in elementary schools. Aspects of theory, research, policy and practice are examined. Prerequisite: Equivalent to 3 credits in mathematics education or consent of Department. Sections may be offered at an increased rate of fee assessment; refer to the Tuition and Fees page in the University Regulations sections of the Calendar.
