Minor in Agricultural Food Policy and Global Health (Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences) [Arts]

General Information

This minor is available to any student in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Arts Honors programs, which have additional regulations and requirements. This minor is offered in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences.

Requirements for the Minor

A minor in Agricultural Food Policy and Global Health requires a minimum of 24 units and a maximum of 36 units including a minimum of 6 units at the 300- or 400-level.

Students who prove completion of demonstrated Indigenous content must fulfil the required 24 unit minimum for the minor by taking another course from the list above, the Indigenous Content course list or the Additional Cross-Listed Options below.

3 units chosen from

Demonstrated Indigenous Content

Proof of demonstrated Indigenous content provided from one of the following:

Aboriginal Studies 30 (or equivalent) taken at the high school level
Cree 30 (or equivalent) taken at the high school level
3 units of course work with Indigenous content completed elsewhere in the degree program (see Note)
Proof of completion of the Indigenous Canada MOOC
