The Department of Dentistry offers the degree of PhD in Medical Sciences – Oral Biology.

Program Core Competencies

The following are the program-specific requirements to satisfy the FoMD’s Program Core Competencies (See Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry Program Core Competencies ).

Students in the PhD Oral Biology program may be required to complete additional courses to strengthen their background knowledge and/or critical thinking based on their area of research. Courses will be chosen in consultation with their supervisor. Students can also contact the Graduate Program Administrator for course options.

Thesis

Registration in 900-level THES. Students are required to prepare and defend a thesis on a topic approved by their supervisor and supervisory committee.
