Major and Minor in History [Faculté - English]

Major
- For the major in History, students must obtain a minimum of 30 units at the senior level in History including at least 6 units at the 400-level.
- All courses labelled HISTE as well as ETCAN 330 , ETCAN 332 , HUME 420 , SC PO 304 , SC PO 305 , SCSOC 322 , SCSOC 431 are allowed in the major.
- A minimum of 9 units from Canadian History (excluding HISTE 260 , HISTE 261 ) and 9 units from History other than Canadian are required.
Required but may not be counted in the major
The following courses are required
Minor
- For the minor in History, students must obtain a minimum of 15 units at the senior level in History (including at least 6 units at the 300- or 400-level) and a maximum of 24 units.
- Courses labelled HISTE as well as SC PO 304 , SC PO 305 , SCSOC 225 are allowed in the minor.
Required but may not be counted in the minor
