Regulations

Performance Route Only: Students will be required to present a junior and senior recital before graduation.

Year 1 (33 units)

One of

6 units in

  • MUSIC, Arts, or Science option (6 units)

3 units in

  • MUSIC, Arts, or Science option (3 units) with permission from the Department of Music OR

Year 2 (33 units)

3 units in

  • MUSIC, Arts, or Science option (3 units)

6 units in

  • One Language Other than English (6 units) OR
  • MUSIC, Arts, or Science Option (6 units) (see Note 1)

Notes

  1. The Language Other than English (6 units) requirement can be replaced with MUSIC, Arts, or Science Option (6 units) for students who have either:
    1. successfully completed a Language Other than English at the 30-level (or equivalent), or
    2. been required to take an English Language Proficiency test for admission
