2. Some courses are applicable to more than one area of study where this is the case, a course may be counted toward only one area’s requirements.
3. No more than 12 units from courses in the student’s declared major can be applied to this certificate
4. Students may apply for other courses to count toward the Certificate, with the approval of the Certificate Advisor.

Students completing the European Certificate program are strongly encouraged to take advantage of opportunities for study abroad in Europe, either in U of A programs such as the U of A School in Cortona, in partner institutions, or in international internships offered through UAI.
