Students registering for first-year courses should consult the Registration menu on the Office of the Registrar web page for detailed registration procedures.

Students interested in an equivalent curriculum given in French should consult Baccalauréat ès science en génie - Première année (Faculté Saint-Jean) .

• ENGG 130 - Engineering Mechanics
• ENGL 199 - English for Engineering Students (see Note 2)
• MATH 100 - Calculus for Engineering I
• PHYS 130 - Wave Motion, Optics, and Sound

Term 2

• CHEM 105 - Introductory University Chemistry II
• ENCMP 100 - Computer Programming for Engineers (see Note 2)
• ENGG 160 - Introduction to Engineering Design, Communication, and Profession
• EN PH 131 - Mechanics
• MATH 101 - Calculus for Engineering II
• MATH 102 - Applied Linear Algebra

Notes:

1. Students accepted into the Honors Mathematics stream replace MATH 100  and MATH 101  with MATH 117  and MATH 118 .
2. ENGL 199  can be taken in Term 2 and ENCMP 100  can be taken in Term 1 instead.
