The BSc Honors in Food Science program is intended for highly-motivated students with exceptional ability. Honors is the preferred program for students who aim for research-oriented careers or who plan to pursue graduate studies. Program details are available on the Faculty website.
The Honors in Food Science program meets the guidelines of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
All students in the BSc Honors in Nutrition must successfully complete the courses in a common program core, as well as a capstone course.

Continuation in the BSc Honors in Food Science
Students will be assessed annually to ensure that they maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 for continuation in the BSc Honors in Food Science program. Students who do not attain the required GPA will be eligible to apply to the BSc in Nutrition and Food Science, General Program.
