★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) Conservation equations for mass, momentum and energy. Laminar and turbulent convection boundary layers. Free and forced convection. Convection with phase change. Heat convection in porous media. Microchannel heat transfer. Approximate solutions. Prerequisites: MEC E 370, 330 or 331, and MATH 300, or equivalent.
