MEC E 453 - Acoustics and Noise Control
★ 3 (fi 8) (either term or Spring/Summer, 3-0-0) Acoustic waves, sound transmission through walls and structures, acoustics of large and small rooms, mechanisms of sound absorption. Design of silencers. Prerequisites: MEC E 250, 330 or 331 and MATH 300. Credit cannot be obtained in both MEC E 553 and 453.
