★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) Introduction to the structures, varieties and uses of contemporary English, and a survey of its historical development. Prerequisites: Two of AUENG 102, 103, or 104. Note: Not to be taken by students with credit in AUENG 211, 212, 311, 312 or 313.
