Please Note [August 30, 2024] - The Code of Student Behaviour has been updated to the Student Conduct Policy and the Student Academic Integrity Policy, effective September 1, 2024. See Amendments to the Calendar for more information.
It is the student’s responsibility to be familiar with, and adhere to, the terms of the University of Alberta’s Student Conduct Policy and Student Academic Integrity Policy. Included in these policies are descriptions of unacceptable behaviour for students in the University, the sanctions for commission of the offences, and explanations of the complete discipline and appeal processes.
The term Student is defined in the Student Conduct Policy and the Student Academic Integrity Policy. Students who have committed offence(s) as defined in the Student Conduct Policy and the Student Academic Integrity Policy will be charged under the Student Conduct Policy and the Student Academic Integrity Policy.
Amendments to the Student Conduct Policy and the Student Academic Integrity Policy occur throughout the year. The official version of the Student Conduct Policy and the Student Academic Integrity Policy, as amended from time to time, is housed on the University of Alberta Policies and Procedures Online (UAPPOL) website.
