Graduate Certificate in Population Health

Please note [April 15, 2026] - ADDENDUM. This is a new program. See Amendments to the Calendar  for additional information.

General Information

The Graduate Certificate in Population Health is an online program designed to equip professionals from diverse backgrounds with foundational, cross-cutting competencies in population health, focusing on systems thinking, evidence-based practice, and equity-focused solutions. Recognizing that health outcomes are influenced by complex interactions between land, animals, and humans, and that diverse teams collaborate to solve these issues, the program adopts a transdisciplinary approach to interpreting and applying and acting on public health data to real-world contexts. Students will develop expertise in analyzing and intervening in complex population health system dynamics, understanding and addressing the root causes of health inequities, and contributing to collaborative efforts that create shared value for communities.
