Optional Second Minor Teaching Subject: Second Languages with Language Proficiency

Students with language proficiency in any language may present documentation and complete coursework to prepare to be a second language teacher. Not all languages are taught in Alberta K-12 schools and so care should be taken to determine if the second language is a good fit for your future teaching goals.

EDSE 370 - Introduction to Curriculum and Teaching in Secondary School Second Language (Minor)

3 units Literature, Culture or History chosen from

See the second languages minors lists or the second languages majors lists for possible language, culture and history courses from Arabic, Cree, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, and Ukrainian.

EDSE 370 is normally offered in the Fall Term only.
