General Information
The subject area requirements listed on this page are part of the Bachelor of Science (Major and Honors) program offered by the Faculty of Science. Students must ensure they are familiar with and follow all program requirements in addition to the subject area requirements outlined below. Pharmacology subject area GPA will be calculated including all courses at the 200-level or above with course designators BIOCH, CHEM, PHYSL, and PMCOL. Honors in Pharmacology Requirements
3 units from
- Any 300-level or 400-level Subject Area (BIOCH, CHEM, PHYSL, PMCOL) course
Notes
- Students will not be permitted to take 400-level PMCOL courses unless all prerequisites have been met.
- The requirement of PMCOL 301 or PMCOL 302 may be waived by the department if the student has comparable previous research experience. If that is the case, an additional 3 units from any 300-level or 400-level Subject Area (BIOCH, CHEM, PHYSL, PMCOL) course is required.
- Students who take PMCOL 497 and PMCOL 499 may not take PMCOL 401 or PMCOL 402 .
- Some courses appear in more than one list of courses. Students may not use the same course to satisfy more than one requirement.
Major in Pharmacology Requirements
Notes
- Students in the Major in Pharmacology degree program may only complete one of PMCOL 401 or PMCOL 402 .
