Minor in Religious Studies [Arts]

This minor is commonly taken as part of the Bachelor of Arts  program, which has additional regulations and requirements, including specific regulations for cross-listed courses.

This minor is offered by the Department of History, Classics, and Religion, Faculty of Arts.

Requirements for the Minor

A minor in Religious Studies requires a minimum of 15 units to a maximum of 42 units at the senior level in RELIG and approved cross-listed courses, including:

• 3 units in RELIG courses numbered 201 to 229
• 3 units in RELIG courses numbered 230 to 249
• RELIG 375 - Approaches to the Study of Religion  
• 6 units in RELIG at the 300- or 400-level in addition to RELIG 375
