Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management (course-based)

Effective October 1, 2022, admission to this Master of Public Health specialization will be suspended. The requirements on this page apply to students who started their program in Fall 2022 or earlier.

Program Requirements
In addition to the Master of Public Health Core Courses (24 units), students must complete the following for a total of (51 units):
Specialization Courses (18 units):
Approved Elective Courses (9 units):
(9 units) of graduate-level courses approved by the student’s Academic Advisor.
Length of Program
The minimum time to complete the Master of Public Health degree is 20 months. The maximum time permitted for completion of the program is six years (part- or full-time) from the date of first registration.
