Continuation in the Specialization in Cell Biology program requires a minimum 2.3 GPA in each preceding Fall/Winter.

Options
- 3 units from CELL 400 level (excluding CELL 498 and CELL 499 )
- 15 units from Group A option (CELL 398 recommended)
- 9 units in Science options
- 12 units in Open options
- 9 units in Arts options
Cell Biology Group A Options:
- Any 400-level ANAT course.
- Any BIOCH course.
- Any CELL course.
- Any GENET course.
- Any IMIN course.
- Any MICRB course.
- Any 300- and 400-level MMI course.
- Any NEURO course.
- Any ONCOL course.
- Any PHYSL course.
- Any PMCOL course.
Notes
- Science option: any course offered by the Faculty of Science (can also be selected from the Group A list)
- Open option: any University of Alberta course (can also be selected from Group A list or Science)
- 9 units minimum at the 400-level.
- Students are encouraged to consult the Department of Cell Biology for selection and approval of all options.
