Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies [Arts]

General Information

This minor is commonly taken as part of the Bachelor of Arts  program, which has additional regulations and requirements, including specific regulations for cross-listed courses.

Students from other programs should note the regulations and requirements on their own program page.

Requirements for the Minor

A minor in Women’s and Gender Studies requires a minimum of 18 units to a maximum of 42 units in Women’s and Gender Studies or Women’s and Gender Studies cross-listed courses including at least 3 units in 300-level WGS and 3 units in 400-level WGS courses.

Notes

Students wishing to pursue a major or minor in Women’s and Gender Studies should note that the completion of at least 3 units in WGS at the 100- or 200-level is a prerequisite for all 300- and 400-level WGS courses.
