Gestion Touristique Diploma Program


Effective July 1, 2022, there will be no further admissions to Gestion Touristique Diploma program. Students who entered the program prior to  July 2022 must complete all program requirements by June 30, 2027. The last Gestion Touristique Diploma Program will be granted at Convocation 2027. Continuing students must refer to the Calendar in effect when they declared the certificate for program requirements.

General Program Information The Gestion touristique program provides learning opportunities for the development of bilingual tourism professionals with solid management and tourism development skills. This two year program offers product development training and competency based learning opportunities in a broad spectrum of content areas such as working as a guide, managing accommodations, organizing events, product sales and marketing. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they enrol in courses and complete the required course credits. In order to graduate, students are required to complete their program requirements (see Chart 2), show proof of English-language proficiency and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. All courses will be taught in French by the Centre collégial de l’Alberta.
