Major and Minor in Psychology [Faculté - English]

Major

• For the major in Psychology, students must obtain a minimum of 30 units at the senior level in Psychology including at least 6 units at the 400-level.
• All courses labelled PSYCE as well as SCSOC 225  and STATQ 151  (or SCSOC 322 ) are allowed in the major.
• PSYCE 104 , PSYCE 105  are required, but may not be counted in the major.
• A minimum of 6 units selected from 300- or 400-level Psychology (Science) and a minimum of 6 units selected from 300- or 400-level Psychology (Arts) courses.

Minor

1. For the minor in Psychology, students must obtain a minimum of 15 units at the senior level in Psychology (including at least 6 units at the 300- or 400-level) and a maximum of 24 units.
2. All courses labelled PSYCE as well as STATQ 151  (or SCSOC 322  or SCI 151 ) are allowed in the minor.
3. PSYCE 104 , PSYCE 105  are required, but may not be counted in the minor. 
4. STATQ 151  (or SCSOC 322  or SCI 151 ) is required.
5. A minimum of 6 units at the senior level in Psychology (Arts) (including at least 3 units at the 300- or 400-level) a minimum of 6 units at the senior level in Psychology (Science) (including at least 3 units at the 300- or 400-level).
