Note: The programs in French–Literature cover French language literatures, including French-Canadian literature.

Major
- For the major in French–Literature, students must obtain a minimum of 30 units at the senior level in French–Literature including at least 6 units at the 400–level.
- FRANC 116 , FRANC 117 , FRANC 216 , FRANC 217 , FRANC 226 and FRANC 227 may not be counted in the major.
- A minimum of 6 units from French literature (excluding LITT 228 , LITT 135 ) and 6 units from French-Canadian literature (excluding LITT 224 ) are required.
