Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce [Faculté Saint-Jean]

Pour la version française, allez sur: Baccalauréat bilingue en Administration des affaires

Description of Field

The four-year Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce degree is a collaborative effort between Faculté Saint-Jean and the Faculty of Business. This program, unique in Canada, offers students the opportunity to obtain a fully bilingual Business degree in Canada’s two official languages. Students will complete half of their coursework at the Faculty of Business.

Students initially apply for admission to the Faculté Saint-Jean and are considered to be registered in the Faculté for the first year of the program (foundational year). Students transferring to Faculté Saint-Jean with one or more of the foundational requirements from another approved postsecondary institution must satisfy the admission and transfer credit requirements of Faculté Saint-Jean prior to applying to the Faculty of Business. See Faculté Saint-Jean Regulations (English) , Règlements de la Faculté Saint-Jean . Following the completion of the foundational year, students apply to the Faculty of Business (see Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce Admission Requirements ).

The Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce degree program consists of 120 units overall. Coursework is taken concurrently within both Faculties

Normally a student will complete 54 units at Faculté Saint-Jean, not counting the 6 units for ANGL and ENGL, and 60 units in the Faculty of Business. Only in exceptional circumstances will students be allowed to depart from the 54-unit/6-unit/60-unit pattern. (See Readmission of Previous Students ).
