An exploration of human engagements with material things (and/or places) through the consideration of aspects of their production, mediation, and/or consumption (including disposal). Topics are discussed through scholarship that is associated with (selected) disciplinary themes within the interdisciplinary and interconnected fields of material culture studies and sustainability studies.
