REN R 340 - Introduction to Fire Science and Management

★ 3 (fi 6) (second term, 3-0-0) Fire thermophysics, combustion energetics, fire behavior, fuels measurement and manipulation, fire effects; prescribed burning and introduction of fire spread models. Applications of fire as part of sophisticated forest management. Credit will be granted for only one of REN R 340 or FOR 340.
