Students will be introduced to critical reflection and engagement with course concepts and provided movement experiences to develop assessment and intervention strategies in responding to how the historical and contemporary social issues of kinesiology (e.g., ableism, racism, sexism, classism, power relations, privilege, injustice, processes of normalization, colonialism) affect development of movement fundamentals and participation in physical culture.
