Description
Participatory Research (PR) is as an approach to doing community-based research viewed as a means of producing knowledge, as a tool for education, consciousness raising, and mobilization for action. By bringing together action and reflection, theory and practice, and community engagement, PR produces practical and reflective knowledge. Themes related to doing PR and examples of PR projects will be explored. Prerequisite: EDSE 510 or consent of Instructor and Department.
