The science of sedimentary rocks, focusing on the interpretation of sedimentary strata. Topics vary: visit the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences course listing website for details. May be taken more than once for credit provided no topic is repeated. Topics include: (1) Carbonate Sedimentology and Diagenesis; (2) Clastic Sedimentology. Prerequisite: EAS 336.
