MLSCI 230 - Hematology And Hemostasis

★ 6 (fi 12) (variable, 3-0-6) An introduction to the theory and practice of hematology and hemostasis. Topics include the morphology, structure, and function of red cells, white cells, and platelets, malignant and benign conditions that affect each cell type, and tests to distinguish among disease states including anemia, leukemia, and coagulation disorders. Restricted to Medical Laboratory Science students.
