BIOL 315 - Biology: An Historical Perspective

★ 3 (fi 6) (second term, 3-0-0) An outline of the scientific foundations of biological discovery. Students must have a sophisticated understanding of modern concepts in biology, be prepared to write a major essay on a focused topic, deliver an oral presentation and participate actively in class discussion. Prerequisite: a third-year course in the biological sciences or consent of instructor. Offered in alternate years.
