PHARM 554 - Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience 1 - Community Practice

★ 8 (fi 16) (variable, 320 hours) This 8-week structured practical learning experience will allow students to apply and integrate knowledge and skills in a community pharmacy setting. Students will develop practical knowledge necessary for the professional role of pharmacists as care providers, communicators, scholars, educators, advocates, practice managers, leaders and collaborators. Students are expected to step into the role of a pharmacist under the guidance of a pharmacist preceptor. Prerequisite: PHARM 354.(Restricted to Pharmacy students.)
