Mar. 25, 2020

ADDENDA: new withdrawal deadlines for Winter Term 2020 were approved in response to COVID-19.  Previously, the deadline to withdraw from classes in Winter Term 2020 was April 1, 2020.  The new deadline is April 8, 2020.  See Academic Schedule, Dates, and Deadlines  and Fall 2019/Winter 2020 Terms .

A note was added to Undergraduate Application Procedures and Deadlines  advising students to visit the Undergraduate Admissions & Programs webpage to view extended application deadlines.

Jan. 3, 2020

On the Academic Schedule, Dates, and Deadlines  page, additional errata has been noted regarding the date of the Students’ Union Election Forum in Myer Horowitz Theatre (SUB).  The page originally stated that the forum was on Mar. 4, 2020.  This has been corrected to Mar. 2, 2020.

For the Certificate in Global Citizenship , BIOL 381 was added as one of the approved courses for the certificate.

Sept. 3, 2019

On the Academic Schedule, Dates, and Deadlines  page, additional errata has been noted regarding the start of Winter Term classes for students in year three of the MD program.  The page originally stated that the start date was Jan. 6, 2020.  This has been corrected to Dec. 30, 2019.

Corrections were made to the following Nursing courses: NURS 120, NURS 125, NURS 221, NURS 225, NURS 335, NURS 345

July 29, 2019

The Fall 2019/Winter 2020 Terms  page incorrectly stated the Fee Refund (50%) deadline for Second Half classes in Fall Term as November 29, 2019.  The correct date is November 22, 2019.

The Mandatory Instructional Support Fees that are assessed and collected by the department directly from the student:  page incorrectly listed a course as KRLS 452.  The correct course is KRLS 352.

June 7, 2019

On the General Admission Requirements  page, there was an error in the faculty requirements for students in the Transition Year Program going into the BARST program.

A change was made to the course listings on the Materials [Engineering]  page, in the Year 3 Term 6 section.  CH E 314 was incorrectly listed.  It has now been replaced with Complementary Studies Elective.

For the Spring/Summer 2019 Terms  and Fall 2019/Winter 2020 Terms , the second half registration deadline mistakenly indicated that they were ‘delete only’ deadlines.  The ‘delete only’ comments were removed to make the information accurate.  The second half registration deadlines (May 30, 2019; August 1, 2019; November 1, 2019; March 13, 2020) refer to the deadline for both online registration and deletion of classes that begin in the second half of their respective terms.

On the Faculty of Arts  page, the entrance requirements information for BA Honors Classical Languages and BA Honors Classical Studies were split into separate rows.

• ENT 101  was originally printed as having ★0.  This has been corrected to ★3.
• The course designator for KRLS 504 was corrected to KSR 504  .

A correction was made to the Bachelor of Arts (Criminology)  page regarding Promotion requirements.

To be promoted in each academic year, students must have

1. maintained a full course load of 30 unless advance permission was granted for a reduced course load;
2. attained a minimum grade point average of 2.7;
3. attained a minimum grade of B- in SOC 399 and SOC 499 as required during the final two years of the program; and
4. been recommended by the Department of Sociology.
